The network meetings offer a forum for subject specific co-ordinators to share examples of good practice and meet other teachers from different schools.

Date: Wednesday 9th March 2016
Venue: 3rd Floor East Training Room, Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP
Times: 2pm to 4pm

Content:
The meeting will include updates on PSHE and EHWB (local and national) including signposting to resources and partner organisations. There will be an opportunity to share good practice with colleagues and an update on the free resources we have produced, including the recently updated PSHE and Wellbeing Framework and Audit Tool.

The following partners will be present to talk about the support they can offer:

MyTime Active – Physical Activity and Healthy Eating (free support)
Hawn Foundation – MindUp Framework for 4-13 year olds
British Red Cross (free support)
Living Well – Sex and Relationships Education support

The Assistant Head and PSHE lead at Sacred Heart school has kindly agreed to talk about the developments they have made within PSHE – the changes they have made within monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting have had a positive impact on the status of PSHE in the school amongst both staff and pupils.

This is a great opportunity for newly appointed PSHE leads to gain confidence in their role.

Tri-borough Annual Headteachers Conference 2016

This year’s annual conference will be on Thursday 28 April 2016 and the venue will be Kensington Close Hotel.
We are very pleased to confirm that the key-note speaker will be Professor Graham Donaldson. Professor Donaldson was appointed as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education (HMI) and rose to become head of the Scottish Inspectorate (HMIE) from 2002 – 2010. In that role he was chief executive of the agency and Chief Professional Advisor on education to the Scottish Government.

The morning programme will also include a choice of three thematic workshops led by the four Teaching School Alliances: School to School support work, Specialist Leaders of Education and School Led Teacher Training.

The conference will finish with a networking lunch, providing the opportunity to find out the opportunities available from a number of internal services and external organisation
