A scheme to offer pupils free school breakfast and lunch irrespective of income has been launched in an attempt to tackle the growing food poverty crisis in parts of the UK. For more information, click here.

• If you’d like to step up to headship, but aren’t sure how to get there, then apply to the Mayor’s Getting Ahead London programme for senior leaders in primary and secondary schools and colleges (including special schools and AP/PRU).
• We will also be piloting a small cohort for middle leaders being supported into senior school leadership.
• A place on this scheme will give you prestigious, bespoke coaching, mentoring and work shadowing to help you to become a London head or principal.
