The Urban Studies Centre is offering you the opportunity to discover for yourself this fantastic new education centre built on a jetty on the River Thames at Fulham Wharf.
The Jetty has an environmentally friendly building with large flexible teaching spaces, both outdoor and indoor, giving incredible views over the river and access to both the foreshore and the Thames Path. There is also a green roof and wild flower meadow area on the Jetty, providing a valuable habitat for birds and insects. The Jetty offers exceptional teaching and learning potential for both primary and secondary schools.
The Urban Studies Centre is holding this event to discover what kind of learning environment the Jetty should offer when it opens for visiting school groups in 2017/18. Help us to shape London’s newest river-based education centre into a great resource for you and your students!
