A conference open to all Early years and Primary NQTs in LBHF, RBKC and Westminster.
The programme has been carefully planned to provide a relevant, varied, inspiring and enjoyable day. The aim of the day is for NQTs to develop knowledge and understanding, acquire some creative approaches and ideas in a supportive environment to take back to their classes, have the opportunity to network and build links with fellow NQTs, and for them to feel valued, confident and re-energised.
The programme includes a keynote workshop with Simon Cooper-Hind “Beyond the Standards – What really matters?” and a choice of afternoon workshops including Block Play (for Early Years), Children as Storytellers (from The Shakespeare Globe), Steiner Approach to Learning/ 5 minute lesson plans and Teaching Music for non-music specialists.
