During this session, NQTs will look at the definition of the four broad areas of need and support and how they, as teachers, can adapt their practice to support children with these needs. NQTs will look at the importance of early identification and strategies to address concerns. Consider different environments within an early years setting and how they impact on children’s earning. NQT’s will address any current concerns they have, providing support, resources and practical solutions. NQTs will have the opportunity to look at ssamples of documentation relating to SEND.
