The use of technology presents an invaluable opportunity to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. This session is designed to equip NQTs with an understanding of what the national curriculum for computing is for their phase with some practical hands on tasks and ideas that can be put into practice in the classroom. The session will focus on opportunities for delegates to explore the key resources available to enable them to deliver the computer science strand effectively and explore creativity, The session will also give delegates the opportunity gain understanding in the digital literacy aspect of computing and how to support their pupils to make safe and wise decisions online and consider their own professional responsibility in terms of online behaviour and practice.
