This session takes a look at the importance of music in the early years and how it links into all areas of the early years outcomes.
Aims of the training session:
This session aims to equip participants with strategies on how to include music and movement in all lessons and for it to be a valued and integral part of the environment.
The session will focus on:
• The Importance of Music in the Early Years
• How it links to all areas in the Early Years Outcomes – Literacy, Numeracy … EAL
• What skills are gained from Music
• Music in the community
• Musical activities that you can use in the classroom
This session will be very practical and hands on.
