The use of technology presents an invaluable opportunity to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. This session is designed to equip NQTs with an understanding of what the national curriculum for computing is for their phase with some practical hands on tasks and ideas that can be put into practice in the classroom.
The aim of the session is to provide delegates with the opportunity to explore the Computing National Curriculum. There will be a strong focus during the session on hands on opportunities for delegates to explore the key resources to enable them to deliver the computer science strand effectively and explore creativity. The session will also give delegates the opportunity to gain understanding in the digital literacy aspect of computing and how to support their pupils make safe and wise decisions online.
