London’s Environment is changing…. and so is the Urban Studies Centre!
Urbanwise.London is offering you the opportunity to discover for yourself a fantastic new education centre built on a jetty on the River Thames at Fulham Wharf.
Following on from the success of last year’s teacher consultation, we would like to explore the potential for community and partnership working.
The Jetty is an environmentally friendly building with large flexible spaces, both outdoor and indoor, giving incredible views over the river and access to both the foreshore and the Thames Path. There is also a green roof and wild flower meadow area on the Jetty, providing a valuable habitat for birds and insects. In addition to exceptional teaching and learning facilities, the jetty also offers great opportunities for community use.
This is our launch event for Urbanwise.London and we would be delighted if you could join us for a glass of Pimms and some light refreshments on the deck as the first step on our exciting new voyage!
All Primary and Secondary School Head Teachers and Senior Leadership Teams, CPD organisers and river-based and local organisations.
